Nikwax Tech Wash/TX Direct Twin Pack is a kit that contains everything you need to get outdoor gear clean and waterproof. Tech Wash for thoroughly cleaning and preparing the garments and TX Direct Wash in Waterproofer to restore the waterproofing. Both bottles come in a handy 150ml.

Wash-in cleaner for waterproof clothing and equipment
Safely revitalises breathability and water-repellency

This product is a non-detergent soap which can be used regularly to clean clothing and equipment without damaging the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coatings. Use this product instead of detergents or washing powder

When to use:

Clean items with Nikwax Tech Wash before proofing them with the appropriate Nikwax proofer. You should be able to wash reproofed gear 6 to 8 times with Nikwax Tech Wash before it requires reproofing with the appropriate Nikwax proofer

TX DIRECT 150ml

Wash-in waterproofing for wet weather clothing

Adds water-repellency and revives breathability to fabrics without wicking liners.

When to use:

  • After cleaning and re-proofing clothing, maintain its waterproofing qualities by frequent cleaning with Nikwax Tech Wash. After 6 to 8 washes with Nikwax Tech Wash, re-apply Nikwax TX.Direct to re-proof.

    Remember you don’t have to wait to dry between cleaning and re-proofing.
